Cymraeg Our campaigns coordinator Jyoti Fernandes recently visited the powerful Landless Workers Movement – Movimento dos Trabalhadores Sem Terra (MST) – in Brazil to learn more about the Eldorado dos Carajás massacre that sparked the global movement for agrarian reform, and to take inspiration from their ongoing work to reclaim the land.
During her time spent with MST activists and farmers, Jyoti learned about the inspiring history of MST land occupations, their cooperative business models, their solidarity food systems, and their abundant agroecological farming systems.
