Membership Support / Advice

Currently the LWA does not have capacity or resources to help individual members or potential members on their specific projects, farms or programmes. We get a lot of requests for individual support and would love to have the time to respond to each request in full. We are fundraising for a new role for somebody to focus on membership support and services as we have identified it is a gap in our offering so please watch this space. Having said that, if your query is critical and urgent please email info@staging.landworkersalliance.org.uk including the word URGENT in the subject header and it will get picked up and we can try our best to help.

    Salary based on experience
Part -time position 2-3 days per week
    _________________________________________________________________________
Good Small Farms took over the management of Hammonds Farm in July 2021. The 100 acre farm is situated in the beautiful Cotswold countryside, just outside Stroud. We are developing the farm as a mixed, regenerative farm that will include various farming enterprises focused on local food and fibre supply using agro-ecological approaches such as agroforestry. We are in conversion to Organic and Pasture for Life certified.
We are looking for a motivated, hardworking and flexible person to join the team at Good Small Farms. The role will involve taking responsibility for all sales channels which currently include wholesale and a veg bag scheme but may evolve to include larger wholesale customers and market stalls. We sell direct and so a key part of the role is marketing a clear message of what we stand for and being consistent across all channels.
This role is initially part time (2-3 days) and will be supported by other members of the farm team. There is scope for this role to expand to full time as the scale of activity and sales increases.
Good Small Farms is looking forward to applications from a range of backgrounds, which it hopes will help invigorate its operations in the future. We value diversity of thought and experience and are committed to creating systems that value difference so that everyone can feel welcomed, included and nurtured throughout their time with us.
